L1 Numeracy

This numeracy course consists of the three strands of Mathematics: Number, Measurement and Statistics which are the basis of this course.  The subject allows students to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills and apply mathematical concepts useful outside of school. This course will focus on working towards achieving the mandatory Numeracy co-requisites (10 credits) at Level 5 of the curriculum.  Students may then work towards other Level 1 Achievement Standards if appropriate.
